The Course:
About the People
In reviewing my experiences of Ruth’s course, it’s important for me to pay tribute to the significant contributions of Ruth herself and my fellow participants, and to express my gratitude to them all.
The group was (and continues to be) warm, supportive, encouraging and empathetic, respecting and following the lead which Ruth sets with her quiet manner, her style, her assurance and reassurance; her generosity and willingness to share the ideas and techniques she developed the ‘hard way’, from her personal experience. She invited us into the ‘safe space’ she created – which everyone valued – and this allowed me to be less reserved, less cautious than I might have expected, and thereby more open and receptive.
Just one short month; deceptively simple, accessible ideas and suggestions; supportive new friends; and my sense of well-being is flourishing. I can look to the future again – imagine a future.
I've written a lot more about my experience of Ruth's course, and you can read it HERE …
