A Conclusion?
By then, I thought this idea had run its course and so I ‘closed the loop’ by re-connecting with the original idea. As I've done so many times before, I set off on a meandering journey of exploration – this time combining more cyanotype prints with more ‘happy accidents’ – but, as always:
“with a mix of curiosity and experimentation … [and certainly] without any preconception of my destination”,
And magically, as time passed and the number of diptychs increased, I became aware that something important and valuable was happening – had probably been happening unacknowledged for some time – something healthy and therapeutic.
I could feel myself soothed by the opportunities for (and by the depth of) my emotional expression.
